My son played in a playpen while I worked 12-hour days in sanding floors and removing wallpaper. Ha! All was beginning to fall into place, but there was still a long way to go. It would take a great deal of effort as well as a passion of shopping. In order to keep my budget intact, I went with three of my boys to look for bargains in estate sales.
